Louise Fowler Freeman Larkin, affectionately called (Granny) was born April 12, 1920, in Washington County.  She was born to the parents of Sylvia Ray & Garfield Fowler. She was the youngest of 7 children.  She was educated in the public schools of Sandersville and Davisboro. Ms. Larkin spent most of her life in Baldwin County. She joined Green Pasture Missionary Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. W.G. Rooks. She served on the Missionary, Senior Usher Board, and the Food Committee.  She served faithfully on the Senior Usher board for as long as her physical health would allow. She has been a member of GPBC for over 85 years.

She leaves to cherish her memories of one devoted daughter and son in law: Sylvia and Joshua Butler III; stepdaughter, Annie Pearl Dixon, devoted daughters in law: Evelyn Freeman and Betty Freeman.  Grandchildren: Larry Brown, Deborah (Henry) Brown Petterson, Carlton Eugene (Sharanda) Balkcom, Charlene Brown, Robin F. Holloway, Robert (Deborah) Freeman Jr., Pamela F (Donald) Reese, Kimberly (Bernard) Boyer, Samuriel (Arkardi) West, Samuel Turk, Joshua Butler IV, Jonathan Butler, Isaiah (Debra) Freeman, Tomicko (Eddie) Green, Tabitha Freeman, Chad Freeman, and Nicole Freeman.

The family is accepting visitors at 2451 Reeves Circle from 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024.  Funeral Services will be held Friday May 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM, Green Pasture Baptist Church, 150 North Warren Street. The body will lie in state from 12:00PM - 1:00PM.
