Celebration of Life for Ms. Malinda Diane Cannon, age 61 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 commencing at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel Of All Faiths, 252 Swint Avenue, Milledgeville, Georgia. Reverend Harold Simons will officiate. The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Malinda made her sudden transition to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 11, 2022.

She was a lifelong member of Vaughn Chapel Baptist Church serving as an usher. Malinda was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a graduate of Baldwin High School with the class of 1978. Malinda retired after twenty seven years of devoted service from Baldwin State Prison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Lee Cannon and recently her mother Marenier Delois Havior-Cannon.

Malinda leaves to cherish her loving memory, two brothers, Kelvin Cannon and Emory Oneal Cannon and her devoted sister in law Janet Cannon of Milledgevile, Georgia; her companion, Michael Davis of Milledgeville, Georgia; three aunts, Carolyn Lee Ford, Linda Ford and Brenda Ford all of Milledgeville, Georgia; two uncles, Walter (Beatrice) Ford and Robert Cooper of Milledgeville, Georgia; god-mother, Frances Williams, two great aunts, Pearline Bynes and Roxie Harris, devoted friends, Angela Reeves, Sophia Burney and Kimberly Simmons, also a loving host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
