Celebration of Life for Ms. Marcel Lacol Liggins, age 47, of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home, 950 N Clark Street Milledgeville, Georgia. Bishop Eddie Liggins will officiate. The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Marcel entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Atrium Navicent Health-Baldwin.

She is survived by her mother, Valery W. Ridley, father, James A. Liggins, biological father, Royce Boddie, one son, Caleb M. Paschal, maternal grandmother, Mrs. Martha Odum-Washington, three sisters, Jamie (Leon) Liggins- Mapp, Maria G. Ridley , Shay Liggins, aunts, Ruby D. Hendrickson, Velma Washington, uncles, Anthony (April) Washington , Randell Washington and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Marcel was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. Ernest Washington, Mrs. Annie Mae Liggins, Mr. Miller Bell Liggins, great grandparents, Ruby B. Odum, Albert Franklin Odum III and one uncle, Barry F. Washington.
