Homegoing Services for Deaconess Martha Daniels, 86, of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 12 Noon at Second Macedonia Baptist Church, 2914 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville, GA.  Pastor Harris Hardwick will be the officiant. Interment will follow at Scenic Memorial Gardens located on the corner of Highway 49 and Allen Memorial Drive, Milledgeville, GA.

Mrs. Martha Ann Daniels passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Mrs. Martha Daniels was born on October 24, 1938, in Milledgeville, Georgia to the parentage pioneer citizens, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny and Mary Lizzie Wilson Davis. She was born the eighth child of eleven children.

She loved to cook and can/jar preserves. She was an artistic seamstress. She loved flowers and gardening. She married the late Mr. M. C. Daniels on October 1, 1963, and kept her vows until death parted them. Her fur baby was "Queenie", her first and only canine she loved. She adopted her baby sister, Ruby Davis and her children, Cedric and Dara, and grandchildren: KiAmber and Jaceon.

Surviving family members include her beloved nephews: Cedric B. Davis and Dara P. Davis (Juana Davis) of Milledgeville, Georgia; Great nieces and nephews: KiAmber Davis, Jaceon Davis, and Kadyn Dennis, all of Eatonton, Georgia; two sisters: Ms. Mary Lizzie Jackson and Ms. Hattie Mae Samuels, one brother, Deacon Willie R. Davis, Sr. (Doris Davis) all of Milledgeville, Georgia; brothers-in-law, Austel (Carolyn) Daniels, Assad Daniels, Thomas (Dorothy) Daniels, Myron (Jacqueline) Daniels and Alfonso Daniels; sisters-in-law Barbara Daniels, Diane Daniels McCray, and Louise Ward; devoted nieces and nephews: Mrs. Brenda Durden, Ms. Janice Foster, Deacon Larry Foster, and Mr. Leon Samuels, Jr., all of Milledgeville, Georgia; dedicated family/friends, classmates, and frequent callers: Eva Mapp, Christine and Rufus Wright, Vange Butts, Ann Lawson, Vivian Smith, Mattie Pearl Gilmore, Sarah Clark, Demetric Clark, Ophelia Mullins, and Lillian Roberson.

Special Care Givers: Ms. Eva Tucker of Sparta, Georgia, Mrs. Lois Dixon and Staff of Reflections Beauty Salon, and Dr. Ram Puri, Sr. and the Staff of Middle Georgia Chest Medical Center.

The Family will receive visitors at the Daniels residence located on 124 Irby Street SW, Milledgeville, GA ... daily from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. until her services are held.
