Celebration of life for Mary M. Hill of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Vaughn Chapel Baptist Church, 1980 N. Jefferson Street NE, Milledgeville, Georgia 31061. Reverend Tony Fraley will officiate. Reverend Robert Paul will deliver the eulogy The interment will follow at the Baldwin Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Mrs. Hill was called home to eternal rest on Saturday, August 10, 2024.  She was a lifelong member of the Milledgeville community.  She was a member of Vaughn Chapel Baptist Church where she faithfully served as the mother of the church, in the benevolent club and as a deaconess. She worked and retired from Rheem Manufacturing as a line production worker for 17 years.

Mary M. Hill leaves to treasure her memories, her husband, Reverend Donald Hill, her sons:  Sean (Diana) Hill of Helena, Montana, and Deon Hill of Milledgeville, Georgia;  one grandson, Henry Hill; one sister, Eva J. Mapp of Milledgeville, Georgia; one brother, Calvin (Barbara) Mapp of Milledgeville, Georgia; two nephews: Calvin Mapp, Jr. and Keith Mapp; devoted cousins; Jeanie Jarrett, Beverly Smith-Dore, Joe (Mary) Smith, Harriett Davis, Julian Renee Campbell, Eunice Marie Brantley, devoted friends; Johnnie Mae Primas, Wilbert (Barbara) Jackson, Robert (Frances) Paul, Walter (Beatrice) Ford, Ruby Kirkland and a host of other family and friends.
