Funeral Services Celebrating The Life of Ms. Mattie Bell Miller age 69 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Green Pasture Baptist Church, 150 N Warren Street, Milledgeville, Georgia. Reverend Rechard Larkin will officiate. The interment will follow at Scenic Memorial Gardens. Mattie made her transition to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harris Haynes, Jr. and Leana Harmon-Haynes, also three of her sisters, Amanda Haynes, Fannie Haynes, and Brenda Wright.

Mattie was a faithful and dedicated lifelong member of Green Pasture Baptist Church serving as a missionary, and choir member. She was a member of The American Legion Auxiliary. Mattie loved traveling enjoying the beautiful sights of the world. She retired as a Corrections Officer from The Georgia Department of Correction after 18 years of service.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter and one son, Sherry (Antonio) Williams of Gray, Georgia , Robert B. (Ellen) Miller of Macon, Georgia, siblings, Annie Clark of Milledgeville, Georgia and Robert (Cory) Haynes of Columbus, Georgia, Julius Maddox of Detroit, Michigan, devoted friends, Ada Lewis, Katie Holsey, Barbara Giles, and Janie Hicks, 3 grandchildren, Jaylan Miller, Kyle Hogan, Jaleah Miller, one great grandchild, Jace Miller and a loving host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
