Services Celebrating The Life of Ms. Mayzola Bridges Tukes of Detroit, Michigan formerly of Sandersville, Georgia will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 beginning at 11:00 a.m. from Poplar Springs Baptist Church 14139 Georgia Highway 24 West Sandersville. Remains will be placed in state at 10:00 a.m. at the church. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. Mayzola moved to Detroit, Michigan some sixty plus years ago. She was a devoted member at Kadesh Baptist Church in Detroit and served as a Union Stewardess, and also served on the Pastor's Committee at New Mt. Zion  Missionary Baptist Church. It was on Monday, January 29, 2018 that Mayzola was called to eternal rest and made her sacred journey home. She leaves to cherish precious memories in the hearts of her family, one daughter, Sharon Wilson of Detroit, sister, Fannie Mae Brown, brother, Ulusee (Mary) Bridges, former son in law, Louis Wilson, two grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
