Homegoing Service for Ms. Mildred Jean Evans of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held Monday, February 24, 2014 1:00p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church 204 Harrisburg Road Milledgeville, Georgia. The interment will follow at Bone Cemetery. Remains will be in state at 12:00 noon until the hour of service.On Wednesday, February 19, 2014 Mildred transtioned making her Sacred Journey home to be with the Lord. She was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church for seven years and served with the hospitality committee. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Leo and Rachel Williams Evans. Mildred leaves a legacy of love that will forever be cherished in the hearts of her children;Bernice Evans White, Joyce (Gregory) Roberson, and Bernard(Janice) Evans all of Milledgeville, a devoted niece Barbara Harvell, eight grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and a loving host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
