Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Minnie R. Parks of Milledgeville will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013.Services will begin 11:00a.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church Highway 22 East, Sparta, Georgia with the interment following at the church cemetery. On Thursday, August 29, 2013 Mrs. Parks departed this life and entered into rest. She was a member of The Eastern Star, a devoted member of Rhema International Ministries of Macon, Georgia, and was the church mother. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband; Leroy Parks, Sr.,sons;Eric (Feleshia) Bennett, Arthur (Sandra) Bennett, Willie (Marsha) Millions, Stanquez Millions, daughters; Sherlonda (Baldwin)Barnes, Annie (Johnny) Havior, Cormellia (Jimmy) Havior, Frelesha (Tim) Millions all of Milledgeville. Devoted friends; Hazel Brown, Matricia Easley, twenty one grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Parks was preceded in death by her father; Willie Bennett, sons; Dan Jenkins, Jr., Jimmie Bennett and a grand daughter Vaneisha Devereaux.
