Services Celebrating The Life of Monteau P. Barnes of Norcross, Georgia formerly of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at St. Mary Baptist Church 994 Sparta Highway East Milledgeville, Georgia. Service time is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. with the interment being private. Monteau was actively involved with charitable organizations and supported homeless shelters. Monteau was called home on Thursday, January 7, 2016. He leaves precious memories that will linger in the hearts of his devoted and loving wife, Rita O. Barnes of Stone Mountain, Georgia, one son, Talen Barnes, his devoted mother, Barbara Barnes of Milledgeville, Georgia, father, Jimmy Kyles of Atlanta, Georgia, god sons, Demarcus Patterson and Quinttravious Guinn, two sisters, Ashley Warren of Milledgeville, Georgia and Jessica Kyles of Atlanta, Georgia, one brother, Raphael Warren of Milledgeville, Georgia and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home.
