A Celebration Of Life for Mrs. Nellie Mary Hitchcock, 81 of College Park, Georgia will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 commencing at 12:30 pm at the Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home, 950 N Clark Street Milledgeville, Georgia. Reverend Matthew Dennis will officiate with the interment following at Scenic Memorial Gardens.

Nellie was called home to eternal rest on Saturday, August 3, 2024. She was formerly of Milledgeville but made New York her new home in 1962.Nellie was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Hitchcock, Jr.

She leaves fond memories with her daughters, Gail Hitchcock of Queens, New York and Jacqueline Hitchcock of Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters, Beatrice (George) Hitchcock, Louvenia Miller of Gray, Georgia and Frances Williams of Columbus, Georgia; one brother, Vernon (Annie) Miller of Milledgeville, Georgia; two grandchildren, Nacolle Hitchcock - O' Neal and Brandon Hitchcock, also a loving host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
