Minister Octavia Y. Hill, aged 94, peacefully passed away on September 21, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in her honor on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the New Life Outreach Center in Eatonton, Georgia, with Pastor James Kilgore, Sr. officiating. She will be laid to rest at Westview Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.

An esteemed member of the New Life Outreach Center, Minister Hill served faithfully as an evangelist and minister, touching many lives with her compassion and dedication.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Lizzie Dessau (Sammie), Betty Collins (Charles), Shirley Smith, and Regina Smith, and her sons: Bobby Hill (Roylean), Timothy Hill, and Cedric Hill (Renae), all residing in Milledgeville, Georgia. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and cherished friends.
