Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Petronia Harper of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11:00 am at Second Macedonia Baptist Church 2914 Vinson Highway Milledgeville, Georgia. Remains will lie in state at 10:00 am until the service hour. The interment will follow at Bone Cemetery. Mrs. Harper was called home to eternal rest on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 surrounded by her loving and caring family.

She was a former member of St. Paul Baptist Church and also a former member of The American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Harper was an employee at Central State Hospital for thirty years.

Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family, one daughter, Jeffery Mae (Terrell) McCormick of Milledgeville, Georgia, one brother, James Harper of Milledgeville, Georgia, two loving grandchildren, Terrell Jerrod McCormick and Ajoya Danielle McCormick, one loving great - great grandchild, Teiglore McDowell McCormick, devoted friend, Josephine (Sylvester) Jefferson of Woodbridge, Virginia and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Lillie Mae  Hurt -Harper and a brother, George Harper.
