Homegoing Celebration for Reverend Jessie James Coverson of Milledgeville, Georgia formerly of Gordon, Georgia  will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Springhill C.M.E. Church Asbury Church Road Gordon, Georgia. The interment will follow at Asbury Church Road Cemetery. Reverend Coverson was called home  from labor to reward on Monday, December 26, 2016. He leaves to celebrate cherished memories, his devoted wife, Dorothy Brooks Coverson, daughter, Angela Coverson Earls, sons, Patrick Coverson, and Jesse Alexandar Coverson, sisters, Mary Brown, Margaret (James) Burns, and Sandra (Billy) Prosser, brothers, George (Sandra) Coverson, Jr. and Frank James, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a loving host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
