Celebration of Life for Mr. Ricky Lamar Lawrence, Jr. aka "Radar", 45, of Fort Valley, Georgia will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, commencing at 11:00 a.m. at New Damascus Baptist Church, 676 Damascus Church Road, Gray, Georgia 31032.  Pastor Wilbur Greene will officiate. The interment will be held at the New Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery, Gray, Georgia.

Ricky entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 6 ,2024.

Ricky was originally from Milledgeville, Georgia.  He moved to Fort Valley, Georgia from Perry, Georgia two years ago.  He was a member of Fellowship Bible Baptist Church of Warner Robins, Georgia for three years.  He was a member of The Sons of American Legion Post #523, a member of The Boy Scout Troop #518, and a former member of Mount Horab Baptist Church in Gray Georgia.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sherlander Watson-Lawrence of Fort Valley, Georgia; his parents: Ricky Lamar Lawrence, Sr. and Gwendolyn Stewart-Lawrence of Gray, Georgia, stepmother, Kimberly Simmons of Gray, Georgia; one daughter, Audissea Hill of Macon, Georgia; five sons, Gregory Johnson of Dublin, Georgia, Octavious Johnson of Fort Valley, Georgia, Jakhari A. Singleton of Sparta, Georgia, Isaac Johnson and Isaiah Johnson both of Fort Valley, Georgia; one sister, Genena Lawrence of Macon, Georgia; one brother, Devin Poole of Haddock, Georgia; six grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

The family will be receiving visitors after 1:00 p.m. daily at residence of:
