Funeral Services Celebrating The Life of Mr. Robert L. Jones of Milledgeville will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Friendship Baptist Church 865 Highway 24 East Milledgeville. Services will begin at 12:00 noon with the interment following at the church cemetery. Remains will be instate 11:00 a.m. at the church. Robert entered into rest on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. He was a lifelong devoted member of Frienship Baptist Church serving as President of The Friendship Gospel Chorus, served on the usher board, and was a member of the W.M.B.S. Society. He leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Henrietta Barnes and Amanda (Matthew) Washington, brothers, Eugene Jones, Dorsey Jones, Charlie Jones, and Solomon Jones, niece, Clara Pearson, devoted niece, Shonda Jones, and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, John & Daisy Mae Parks Jones, also two brothers, James and Rodell Jones.
