Homecoming Celebration for Mr. Robert Lee "Sonny" Pitts of Milledgeville will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home 950 North Clark Street Milledgeville. Services will begin at 12:00 noon with the interment following at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. On Wednesday, August 2, 2017 Robert traded time for eternity. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Patrick (Janet) Pitts of Monticello, sisters, Pennie Burch, Gloria Williams, Ruby Ingram and Louvenia (Larry) Gray all of Milledgeville, brothers, David Phillips and Charles (Annette) Phillips of Keene, Texas, aunts, Beatrice Fleming and Ruth Curry, sister in law, Leslie Phillips, six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Geneva Phillips, and one brother, Freddie Phillips.
