Homegoing services for Mr. Robert J. Webb will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at Gum Hill Baptist Church, 1125 GA-24, Milledgeville, Georgia 31061.  Pastor Kevin Washington will officiate.  The interment will follow at the Gum Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Robert Webb departed this life on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

Mr. Webb was preceded in death by two sons:  Robert Webb, Jr. and (stepson) Carl Hartridge.

His memories will be cherished by his wife of 57 years of marriage, Carolyn Swint-Webb; seven daughters: Barbara Wright, Joane (Walter) Reddick, Betty (Ronnie) Veal, Diane (Derrick) Hogan, Linda (John) Griffin, Bernice (Sharod) Haynes all of Milledgeville, Georgia, and Priscilla Liggins of Augusta, Georgia; three sons: David Webb of Athens, Georgia, Lee Webb of Augusta, Georgia, and Tommy Webb of Columbus, Georgia; two stepsons: Ronnie Larkin, and Ronald Larkin: three sisters:  Katie Bell Webb , Vondell Washington, and Mary Jane Webb; thirty-seven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other family and friends.
