Ms. Rosa Lamar, age 83, of Milledgeville, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 13, 2025. A private memorial service will be held at a later date to honor her life and legacy.

She was a sister, a grandmother, and a friend.

Rosa's memory will be forever treasured by her loving family: her two sisters: Johnnie Mae Tucker and Inez Bland, both of Milledgeville; her brother, George Williams, Jr. (Bernice), also of Milledgeville; her eight beloved grandchildren; one precious great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Though she may no longer walk among us, Rosa's spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved.
