A Celebration of Life for Ms. Roxie Harris of Macon, Georgia will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the Chapel of All Faiths, 252 Swint Avenue, Milledgeville, Georgia at 1:00 p.m.  Pastor Chris Chatman will officiate.  Interment will follow at Scenic Memorial Gardens Highway 49, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Roxie Harris was born on July 12, 1940 to the parentage of late Willie Harris and Clifford Tennard Harris. She received her education in the public school system of Baldwin County.  Roxie was a faithful member of Bethlehem Church of Free Seventh Day Adventist in Gray, Georgia.  On Thursday, January 4, 2024 she was called home.

She leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of her family: her devoted daughter:  Kimberli Harris of Macon, Georgia;  one sister: Pearline Bynes of Milledgeville, Georgia; two devoted nephews: Calvin (Joyce) Harris of Milledgeville, Georgia and Melvin (Bridgette Jewel) Harris of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren: Jalerius Robinson, Jamiyah Lango, Jordan Lango, and Ga'Keyla Harris; one great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The Harris family will receive family and friends at the residence of Tommy Stone, 382 Allen Memorial Drive, Milledgeville, Monday through Saturday from 4 pm - 7 pm only.
