Funeral Service Celebrating The Life of Ms. Roxie Anna Myrick, age 87 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 657 Old Monticello Road NW, Milledgeville, Georgia. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. Pastor Grover Watson will officiate. Viewing of remains will begin at 10:00 am at the church with the service beginning at 12:00 noon.

Roxie was called home to eternal rest on Monday, February 6, 2023.  She returned to Milledgeville in 2016 after living in New Jersey for a number of years. Roxie was a lifelong faithful member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. She loved traveling and quality time spent with her family.

Her precious memory lives on with her daughters, Karen Myrick and Angela Myrick of New Jersey; one son, Kenneth Myrick of Milledgeville, Georgia; one sister, Barbara Myrick (Elijah) Crocker of Ft. Valley, Georgia; her devoted niece, Sandra Mallory of Milledgeville, Georgia, 4 grandchildren, Anthony Myrick-Lawson, Kevin Simpson, Jr., Davaris and Javaris Myrick, one great grandson, Tatum Jermaine Myrick, and a loving host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

The family is requesting that mask are required to attend the viewing/ inside services and to follow social distancing protocols. There will be no repast following the service due to current concerns regarding COVID spread.
