Services Celebrating The Life of Mrs. Ruby Burgess Watkins of Milledgeville will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 - 10:00 a.m. from Second Macedonia Baptist Church 2914 Vinson Highway Milledgeville. The interment will follow at Council Cemetery. Remains will be instate 9:00 a.m. at the church. On Thursday, December 14, 2017 Ruby was called home to eternal life. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Olivia (Norris) Dumas, Janice (Vincent) Wise, Chaquita (Jeffrey) McGuire, two sons, Tom (Tolona) Burgess and Eugene (Julia Mae) Burgess, sisters, Nora Lee (Roger) Jackson, and Priscilla Ann Brown, brothers, Tyrone (Robin) Smith and Robert Brown, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, John Ed Watkins and one sister, Priscilla Williams.
