Graveside Services for Ms. Ruth Dennis 64 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 11:00 am at Wood Place Cemetery Highway 441 N Milledgeville, Georgia. Reverend Michael Burton will officiate. Ruth entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 26,2021 at her residence. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Phoenix City, Alabama for the past nine years. Ruth enjoyed traveling with her life long companion Boisy Lance Gray. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles as a pastime.

Ruth leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving mother; Alfreda Hurt-Dennis, her lifelong companion; Boisy Lance Gray, two daughters; Temeshia Dennis of Phoenix City, Alabama, and Tiffany (Antonio) Mason of Milledgeville, Georgia, one son, Rodriguez Allen of Phoenix City, Alabama, siblings, Ella Hooks, Wyalene Holsey of Milledgeville, Georgia, Tracey Ellington of Athens, Georgia, Thornton Dennis, Jr., Willie Frank Dennis, Rufus Dennis of Milledgeville, Georgia and Anthony (Raquel) Dennis of Jacksonville, Florida, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her father; Thornton Dennis, Sr.
