Celebration of Life for Mrs. Sarah Cummings of Sparta, Georgia will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 110 O'Connor Drive, Milledgeville, Georgia 31061. Brother Dale Bateman will officiate. The interment will follow at Stanton Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 5928 Highway 22, Sparta, Georgia 31087.

Mrs. Cummings departed this life on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Johnnie B. Cummings and her daughter, Jeanie Cummings.

She leaves five daughters to cherish her memories:  Jessie Mae Johnson of Milledgeville, Georgia, Mildred Hill, Rosa (E.K.) Winkfield, Gladys Cummings, Ann Cummings all of Sparta, Georgia; three sons: Charles Warren of Sparta, Georgia, Jessie Lee (Evelina) Cummings and Albert Cummings both of Milledgeville, Georgia; 25 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren; a dear devoted cousin, Robert Cooper, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
