Memorial Service for Ms. Vertha Burton of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home 950 N Clark Street Milledgeville, Georgia. Services will begin at 2:00p.m. with a private interment. Vertha departed this life and entered into rest on Wednesday, April 9, 2014.Her precious memory will linger in the hearts of her devoted companion, John Simmons, father, Nazree Burton, daughters:Calandra Davis,Tracey Davis, Crystal Burton,and Syleria Mitchell, sons:Robert Mitchell, Jr. and Kentavious Mitchell,sisters:Priscilla(Ronald) Ford,Debra Womble,Laverne Neal and Alssia Colclaugh, brothers: Robert Burton, Hilton Burton, Bobby Jones, two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
