Celebration Of Life for Mrs. Viola Harper Hurt of Milledgeville, Georgia will be on Friday, October 4,2013.Services will begin 11:00a.m.at Saint Paul Baptist Church 485 Meriwether Road Milledgeville,Georgia with the interment following at the church cemetery.Remains will be in state at 10:00a.m. until the hour of service.Mrs.Hurt departed this life on Sunday,September 29,2013 at her residence.She was a faithful and devoted member of St.Paul Baptist Church having served as a choir member and past president,member of St. Mary's Society,and a member of O.A.C.Senior Center volunteering her services for those in need of help.She leaves to cherish her loving memory; ten children,Robert(Hattie)Hurt,Sylvester(Tacye)Hurt of Milledgeville,Ennis Hurt of Washington,D.C.,Annie Louise Johnson,Dissie Hurt Larkin of Milledgeville,Juanita Williams of Haddock, Georgia,Althier(J.W.)Eady,Doris Wilborn of Lithonia,Georgia,Laurie(David)Foster of Atlanta,and Mary Hurt(Richard)Hughes of Macon, Georgia.Two sisters;Mrs.Clyde Paschal,Mrs. Essie Carrington thirty five grandchildren,a loving host of great grandchildren,great-great grandchildren,devoted care takers;Lula Lewis,Betty Jackson,Ruby Johnson,nieces,nephews,other relatives and friends. Mrs.Hurt was preceded in death by her late husband Robert Hurt, Sr.,daughter;Evelyn Hurt Brown,sons;Albert Hurt,Ernest Lee Hurt and grand daughter Tara Hurt.
