Graveside Services Celebrating The Life of Deacon Wallace Sanford age 70 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021. Service time will begin at 1:00pm at Scenic Memorial Gardens at the intersection of Allen Memorial Drive and Ga- Highway 49. Pastor Robert Chapman will officiate. Deacon Sanford entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Sr. & Slettie Bell Stephens- Sanford.

Deacon Sanford was a lifelong faithful member of Union Baptist Church where he was ordained as a deacon. He loved his church family and was very supportive in seeing the mission of the church go forth.

Deacon Sanford leaves behind  to cherish his memory two brothers, David Sanford, Jr. and Edward Sanford both of Milledgeville, Georgia, devoted niece and nephew, Denita LeSha Sanford and Vincent Edward Sanford, devoted aunts, Ophelia Mullins and Lillian S. Roberson, his church family, Pastor Robert Chapman and the Union Baptist Church family, and a host of other family and friends.
