Homegoing Services for Ms. Willie Mae- Burke- Jackson of Gordon, Georgia will be held on Monday June 8, 2015 -1:00 p.m. at Grace Christian Center Church Highway 18 Gordon, Georgia. The interment will follow at Asbury Cemetery. Ms. Jackson was a lifelong resident of Gordon, Georgia and was a devoted member of St. John C.M.E. Church for many years. On Wednesday June 3, 2015 Ms. Jackson entered into rest. She leaves her precious memory to linger in the hearts of her five daughters, Emmie Jean (Eddie) Bass, Marie Solomon, Sandugene (Robert) Brantley, Lula Whipple, and Regina Ingram all of Gordon, Georgia; three sons, John Henry (Minnie) Jackson, Jr. of Irwinton, New Jersey; Carnell (Johnnie Mae) Jackson of Gordon, Georgia,and Carl Lee (Mary) Jackson of Haddock, Georgia;one brother Jerry Odell Burke of Newark, New Jersey; devoted cousin, Maggie Thomas, twenty one grandchildren, forty five great grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
