Services Celebrating The Life of Mr. Willie Richard Ragin of Jonesboro, Georgia will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Gus Thornhill 's Funeral Home Chapel 1315 Gus Thornhill Jr. Drive East Point, Georgia. Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. with the interment to follow at The Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Willie was called home from labor to reward on Saturday, August 13, 2016. He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory his loving and devoted mother, Mrs. Louida Ragin  Oliver of Manning, South Carolina, daughters, Francesca Ragin Leonard of College Park, Georgia and Alex Dees of Jonesboro, Georgia, son, Dante Mario (Octavia) Ragin of Hampton, Georgia, sisters, Queenie (John) Grady of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Verdell (Gilbert) Alexander of Lithonia, Georgia, Neomia Turner of Summerton, South Carolina, Amanda (Samuel) Alston of Manning, South Carolina, Ida Oliver of Lithonia, Georgia and Deborah (Michael) Bines of Baltimore, Maryland, brothers, Robert (Paula) Oliver of Atlanta, Georgia, Jerome (Juanita) Oliver of Manning, South Carolina and Joseph (Shirley) Oliver of David Station, South Carolina, four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
