Celebration Of Life for Mrs. Zena D. Barnett-Mason 53 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held for immediate family only on Friday, November 6, 2020 commencing at 12:00 noon at The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home 950 N Clark Street Milledgeville, Georgia. The interment will follow at The Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Zena was called home to eternal rest on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Navicent Health- Baldwin.

She was a faithful member of Vaughn Chapel Baptist Church for the past five years. Zena was a former member of The Baldwin Eastern Star and also a former corrections officer at Y.D.C. in Milledgeville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father; Jesse Barnett.

She leaves an abundance of cherished memories with her mother; Betty Jean Washington, spouse; Eugene Mason, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, daughter; Zoya Mason and son Javez Mason both of Milledgeville, Georgia, siblings; Jacqueline Oliver of Milledgeville, Georgia, Emily Washington Adams of Snellville, Georgia, Audrey (Terrance) Williams of Loganville, Georgia, Jessie (Deborah) Washington, Jr. and Victor Washington of Milledgeville, Georgia, devoted niece; Tiana Oliver, devoted nephew; Lorenzo Oliver and a loving host of nieces, nephews other family and friends.
